Information about a possible change to VAT (BTW) from 2026
We would like to inform you about a possible change to VAT in the Netherlands.
Currently, VAT (BTW) on holiday home rentals in the Netherlands is 9%. However, the Dutch government is planning to increase this to 21%. This change has not yet been finalised (the decision is expected to be made in September 2025). If it comes into effect, we will be obliged to apply the new VAT rate to existing and future bookings for 2026.
